Let's Meal: Three $20 Trips to Epcot's Food & Wine

Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival is not just an event; it's a break from the high priced, low quality food at standard Disney outlets. Running from August 28 through November 22, 2025, this festival allows you to explore global cuisines without stretching your wallet. Armed with a Pixie Pass, I set out on three different days to discover how much delightful food I could enjoy while keeping each day’s budget under $20. Here’s what I found in my tasty adventures.

First Run: India Booth

My first stop was the India booth, located conveniently past China. I went for the Chicken Tikka Masala, priced at $8. This dish came with creamy spiced yogurt and warm naan, offered in a generous portion that easily resembled a full meal. The flavors were rich, providing a satisfying warmth that wasn’t overly spicy—perfect for someone like me who prefers a gentler kick as I reach my late thirties.

To accompany my main dish, I chose the mango lassi, which cost $6. This drink was so thick it felt like dessert, boasting a creamy texture mixed with a vibrant orange-mango swirl. The non-alcoholic version was refreshing and fulfilling, but the booth also offered a spiked option with eight-year rum for those looking to indulge. My total for this delectable meal was $14, leaving me content and excited for what was next.

Second Hit: Canada

On my second outing, I made my way to the Canada booth, greeted by the enticing aroma of grilled meats. I decided to splurge a bit and selected a $10 filet mignon. This perfectly seared steak was delectable, with a buttery texture that melted in my mouth. It was served on a bed of truffle mashed potatoes, giving me a mini-vacation vibe as I enjoyed my meal by the tranquil pond. Eating here felt like dining at a high-end restaurant—like a hidden gem.

To wash down the rich flavors, I treated myself to Joffrey's crème brûlée cold brew for around $8. This French roast coffee had half the sugar but was rich enough to provide an energy boost without that dreaded sugar crash.

For dessert, I couldn’t resist a mini carrot cake from Milled & Mold, which was an affordable $7. This delightful treat was generously topped with cream-cheese icing and had a satisfying crunch from walnuts. After savoring every bite, I wrapped the last piece in a napkin, unwilling to part with such a delicious experience. My total for this culinary feast was just $20, leaving me fulfilled and happy.

Third Swing: Forest and Field Walkway

For my third adventure, I explored the Forest and Field walkway, a quaint spot tucked between the World Showcase and Imagination. I discovered a unique pumpkin mascarpone ravioli for $8-9, a dish that celebrated the fall season. This delightful pasta was complemented by rich brown butter, vibrant pomegranate pops, and crunchy hazelnuts. Every bite felt like a burst of Thanksgiving flavors, and I relished each mouthful.

To add a refreshing touch, I opted for Japan’s melon ice cone, which cost $9. Made from finely shaved snow, this dessert was delightfully refreshing and airy—perfect for cooling down on a warm day. With a vibrant mix of flavors, it was a delightful finish to my meal.
